We had an amazing week at Gite le Pihon. The house was immaculate, even with espresso coffee machine. Our 3 boys (aged 8-13) loved the pool or just playing in the spacious garden, making use of the table tennis and petanque. Henri went the extra mile to make our trip memorable. He recommended the annual Dax feria and even lent us the official uniform so we would fit in with the other people. The final fireworks were the best I’ve ever seen. The location is a good base for exploring both the coast and the mountains. We had a spectacular walk. Starting from the Lac de Bious Artigues with views of one of the most famous peaks in the Pyrenees. It is suitable for families with a gradual well surfaced path. Certainly one of our best holidays !
